Lartrax resto
Well this has been kickin around the basement for about two years. It was given to me from a guy at work he got it new when he was a kid. It really seemed not worthy but after tearing it down it seems pretty cool

SWEET!
You gotta love the simplicity of those rides from the 70's.
It's good to see a fresh post.
Nice score.

Re: Lartrax resto
This thread was the first time I'd ever seen or heard of one of these before. Apparently I was enamored enough by it to win my own off eBay.

Its too bad the back of the body is damaged. Also it looks like somebody along the way decided to put Monza Spyder decals on it. But hey I still think it was a good deal. Has a numbers matching controller to boot.

Thats pretty funny that they put Chevy Monza Spyder badging on a Corvette. That just makes it all the more quirky. Now I wish even more so that the body wasn't damaged. I guess i'll have to keep an eye out for another one.
I also noticed the batteries are in a forward position on the one I bought and yours are in a rearward position. Seems like you can mount them either way for better steering or for better traction.

Re: Lartrax resto
I got mine in the mail today. It wasn't in as nice of shape as I thought it would be but I suppose thats expected. I mean don't get me wrong its in excellent shape for being 32 years old but I thought it was going to be more towards near mint shape. But for the price I can't complain.
I'm pissed though that the rear of the body that was already damaged, literally got destroyed in shipping.
I can't believe how flimsy the chassis is on these things!
Hey reign79, if you want to sell yours let me know because i'll buy it. But just keep in mind when coming up with a price that I know it was given to you.
