That's to bad I was just in there this past July, I didn't see any Associated stuff so I ask if he had known of any hobby stores the area that sold Associated parts and he said just a second and went to the basement and came back with a few box's, I picked up a few odds and ends

never ever do that! that is all in the past so leave that info there. if you start adding up prices then it can affect the future of the car.. as in weather of not to spend anymore on it. look at the bright side. it could be worse.

I found two sets of Duratrax shock Rc-10T shock towers on the wall. I bought one set, was going to go back and buy a second, but...


Did some work on my car today. I just need to cut the body, clean up the wires and make sure everything is tight.

I did not shorten the nose tubes, instead I drilled some new holes in the tub.

That top picture looks real nice.
I would definitely recommend to replace the Tamiya style plugs on your ESC and accus. Did that connector come standard on the brushless ESC

Yep. Might convert over to deans connectors soon.

Just need to add stickers and charge the battery. Going to try and hit the track next weekend.




Might need to find an alternate location for the Havoc speed controller. The heat sink is rubbing the paint off the body..

Installed Havoc low profile heat sink along with a Tower hobbies 224 2.4 Radio.

I also built a RPM 2.65 transmission to be used at the VONATS this year.

How is the paint holding up? How did you strip/prep the chassis? I've got a green chassis and 10T nose plate that was all drilled out and hacked up, so I was going to grind down the sides, strip it, and repaint it (at some point).

How is the paint holding up?

- The blue keeps rubbing off where the body touches the chassis. I still have some paint so I just touch it up.


How did you strip/prep the chassis?

- I used a dremel sanding flapper. Although, I heard you can remove the anodizing using easy off or white lightening.
