Basket case Worlds Car
I found this Worlds Car on the local Craigslist. What a basket case. Does anyone see anything funny? Since it needs new arms and nose tubes, I was thinking about finally getting some Dynatech arms and converting over the front end. This ones gonna need some tlc.

Re: Basket case Worlds Car
Other than the bent shock and tubes - I'd say that one will clean up really well.
If you got it for a good price then I would say you have done well.
cheers

p.s - is the funny thing the original JRX2 rear tires?

Re: Basket case Worlds Car
looks like a team car with worlds pieces, explains the u joints, 2.0 rear wheels and non machined chassis tub.

Re: Basket case Worlds Car
the tub is machined, it's just really hard to tell. i thought it was a team car chassis too, at first. but notice how large the couple of 4-40 sized screw holes are down the sides tub compared to the others.

Re: Basket case Worlds Car
Whoever built it put the arm mounts on upside down. The bent shock baffles me. Then there is the large 4-40 screw in the pinion gear. And you can't see it in the photos but there was bailiing wire holding the front arm on.(Not that there's anything wrong with bailing wire or duct tape)

Re: Basket case Worlds Car
Maybe the 4-40 screw in the pinion was for balance. I also like how the pinion is offset to reduce drag
