Vintage Losi Trannys

I had an original JRXT and another RPM'd JrxT BITD. Converted the stock T to a buggy w/ Losi H arm conversion, but never got to race them. Always wish I had, but local track raced late into the night, and my parents weren't up for hanging out there for 5+ hours. Anyway, one day I would like to do a build up of one of the jrx based buggies for old time sake, and was wondering about trannies. Ebay searching to me seems that the LRM tranny pieces are very hard to come by, while the XX change boxes are a little easier. I had several XXs (car) and like that tranny better anyway. Question is, Do the internals of the XX car tranny fit the 2.19 change box, (and XXT internals fit the XX change box (2.61 version)? Or were the change box internals specific to the change boxes?

their pretty much the same. the trans case (box) is different but either set of XX gears fit.
