So I have a friend that is native Japanese and is moving back to Tokyo next month, I wonder if kits and parts are way less expensive over there and even though there is international shipping, will I save? You know with the American $ taking a dump and all... Does anyone have any experience with this?
Really I am just interested in Buggy Champ and/or Toyota Tundra from tamiya. But just thinking????

Re: Friend in Japan
I do know that stuff is usually reliesed earlier there than here. A lot of the prices on ebay and such I can emagine are inflated some so it could verey well work out to be alot cheaper.

Re: Friend in Japan
Well, when your friend gets back home, have him price a few things for you. Figuring out the exchange rate and shipping is easy.
