Body Question.

I can't seem to find a definite answer to this question so I hope someone here can help me. I have an RC10 Graphite Team Car. What body did the graphite Team car come with? Associated literature say's it was the Protech II but pics I've seen of the car else where say it was the Viper. Which is it? Anyone know which it is????

The parts list I got off of Associated's website shows the Protech II only being on the Graphite Edition, and the CE and Team cars having the Viper body. But I have seen CE's with the Protech II and I have seen the Team Car Graphite car with both the Protech II and the Viper. I just wandered if anyone actually knew which one was correct for the kit? It's got me all confused!!!

Hmm, I'm not sure either. Best bet is to look up an old ad or try to find an auction with the original box in the pic on ebay.

Somewhere on the AE website, there is a Q&A section. Someone asked what the stock body for the original RC10 was and AE answered that it was the Sidewinder, which it wasn't. So, I'd try to dig up some original box art or an ad.

alright, i looked at my rc10 graphite box, and on the side it says" comes with protech mkII body and wing kit". but, mine is a team car, with the stealth. i'm pretty sure my car came with a viper body. they used the same box for both, they just added a little triangle on the corner saying it was the team car, w/ the stealth and hard coated shocks.

Exactly! I have one of each with the original box's. I have a Graphite Edition, and a Graphite Team car. Man that is confusing! I think I am going to just put a protech II on it and say the heck with it!

The ad that I posted in the "Vintage Ads" thread showed both Team cars from 1993, and the ad shows both cars coming with the Viper body. At the very least, I know most of the Associated factory guys used that body.
