RC 10 Stelth trannys questions
OK Can one of you tell me if there is gear change between the Buggie and RC 10 Truck trannys. Would I see a difference in gearing. If I put a truck stelth into an RC 10 Gold pan?
I have taken THE Top shaft compleat out of a T 4 counted the number of teeth on the top gear and there the same. This way you can use the newer spure gear onto the Standard RC 10 and 10 T. BUT you have to compleatly change everything. on top. Except the bearings they are the same.
IT all works good.
BUT now I was wondering is there a gear difference in the finial drive? on the 2 stelth trannys. IF not that will save me some extra work this week on my oval GOLD pan that I just put together this week.
thanks you DON

OK so your saying both trannys were the same between the RC 10 and 10 T truck.? I knew there was diff between the later ones. IF the older ones were the same that will save me some prolbems and work later . Get back to me on this one thankyou agian. I am getting ready to some changing and hoping they are the same except for spures gears. DON

Re: RC 10 Stelth trannys questions
if you are using a really fast brushless motor, i recommend the rpm 2.65 conversion kit, it will accelerate better with modern size tires and gearing will be smaller, or larger, or whatever lol

Re: RC 10 Stelth trannys questions
OK thank you that will save me a few problems later down the line when I do some changing. I was just about ready to out of my RC 10 T and pull out the buggie stelth..
NOW If you ever want to up date your early stelth install everthing out of a later RC T or RC T 4 all of the top gear assembley will go right in just be sure to change everthing on TOP then you can run the newer Spure. I have done it a few times for the older spure gears was starting hard to fine for me that was why I up dated my Stelth. THE top stell gear teeth is the same as the older one. BUT everthing elest is different on the newer tranny. BUT like I say the top gear is the same. IT Works good. BUT You have to replace everthing .
