Going with the scr8p philosophy, but this is my second RC10. This car replaced my early Edinger, I believe I built it in early 1990 and here it is today. Car has not been wrenched-on or driven since 1993
The one, the only, T2 buggy Kept it true to the rc10 line with standard front and rear suspension and 1/4" rear axles. The rest is all T2. Apparently the poor thing would have never stood a chance in production anyhow with the B2 design having a composite chassis and all. Still my favorite though. Rigid T2 chassis, 2.6 trans (larger t2/gt/b4/t4 diff gear), and I added a B4/T4 slipper to complete the package. It loves to run, loves to jump
I really like that T2/B2 conversion, first time I ever saw that done.
Making me think about doing one.
very nice concept..the trans on the t2 is that tuff gt trans/dif and t4 slipper is a nice add..got me thinkin about doing 1 too.. its like an rc10b1.5....
wanted to keep this goin...heres 1 of my worlds cars. its 1 of my favs cause my friend had it since new and sold it to me a few years ago..its not that nice but i keep it the way it is cause it reminds me of when we were younger...

"your attitude in general and had robbed you of any credibility in my opinion. honesty costs nothing by the way."
a quote from Bormac. i think he's rite.
I'd link to post a link to an article I wrote a while ago for a french-speaking site (sorry, that's my native language) which describes in details a full resto for the first Losi car I ever owned, the almighty LXT (which I think would still...

Wild stab in the dark here - could it be tires and / or shocks? On a real car, the suspension setup is usually the culprit for a bump steer situation. Tire compound can affect it a bit too.
He's referring to front toe variation when suspension...
Favorite:
Building transmissions, specifically ball diffs. They are like the heart of an RC car and I love the attention involved in assembling them correctly.
Least favorite:
Oil shocks. I used to enjoy doing them but nowadays I dread them. A lot...

I agree Jeff, it has come to the point where I will set something up inside to paint.
The fumes and such are not great indoors but I really don't care anymore.
I have been a RC enthusiast since the 80's. I am in the process of rebuilding a buggy and loving every minute of it :) I will put together some photos as I work through the process after I find some info about my RC build.
Cheers!

It was allready raise with 2 washers. The problem is the B4 upright king pins are off center. so when there on the right side the axle is to far back. and the steering links are on a back swep angle. and that make for a lot of bump steer.
