Re: Kyosho Lazer....
I've been watching the auction but am afraid that the body would be too short. Then again it could probably be made to fit. I don't know.

Re: Kyosho Lazer....
Why do you think so? The tomcat body was made for the lazer. I haven't installed mine yet: want to make a custom front shock tower so I don't have to cut the nose of the body

Re: Kyosho Lazer....
I'm just going off of dude's reply from the question I asked him whether it would work on a Lazer. He said all he knows is that it is for the short wheel base version of the Optima Mid. I'm sure it would probably work, but I kinda like the original Lazer body better.Mr. ED wrote:Why do you think so? The tomcat body was made for the lazer. Here are some pics finally! (Rich) I bolted the motor and gear cover on. Still need to put on the battery strap assemblies. I have the plastic parts, they came with it, but I need to dig around to find the correct flat head phillips self tapping screws to hold them on. Overall a very nice car IMO.

Re: Kyosho Lazer....
Hey Brandon,
In the scans section you can find a scan of Parma's catalog with the tomcat body listed: for use on a lazer.
Maybe earlier catalogs showed it for the optima mid's, but it certainly fits the lazer well.
KF2,
I don't think anybody is making it available again currently. I think there's just someone who laid hands on a couple, unless it's me who misunderstood.

Re: Kyosho Lazer....
Thanks for the great info! When I received these bodies from another member, I was led to believe they were only for the SWB Optima Mid! I apologize for the incorrect information ( pays to do your homework ). They do however fit the Mid as well. I'm in the middle of cutting out the Tomcat body for the Lazer, and it is going to fit very well. I don't believe there being produced by anyone either! But I have several to work with.
