Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
I always liked the TRX-1 shell. Well that was up until I got to see it up close and now the jury is out on that one. I think its very unique and perhaps that will be enough to lure me back in yet again.

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
I actually think the bodies look pretty cool myself. In fact thats what drew me to them in the first place. I've never actually seen one in person so this will be a first, also I've never owned a traxxas so I'm interested to see the quality compared to RC10's, JRX-2 Pro's at the time. My wife just called and said a big box showed up today

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
Well, I got the cars completely torn down and started the re-build last night. The parts cleaned up pretty well, just really need to find a new bumper for the replica. Very minor wear, just a little soap and water and it was like new
Now to find the electrics and a new body and wing (paging Mr. Lexan!
) Also a little more research to find what tires Scott was running at the 92 nats.

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
going by the pic in rcca of his car, i'd say it's this novak 410-M1c (spf) with the wires comming out of the front on the side. not the top like the regular 410-M1c.

as for the tires, the fronts look to be the losi ribbed ht tires, going by the standings info. proline rears, but not sure which ones. looks like he's using bullet rear rims, also.

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
75 isn't legal in UK, and I reckon my Worlds Thunder king is on it as well, might be a period handset somewhere, servos are part nos 94102 and 94738
both seem to be black black and red wires second one was extended to run msc on usa1
first has gold label second is black
rx is 92523 75 band AM, which is it says made by Sanwa
No 72 cover for chip is included
Got a 75 Kyosho Pulsar Pro 2000 handset as well
