My biggest regret is not talking my brother into keeping his Tamiya Supershot from back in the day. Today we are both astonished with how much they sell for.

Regrets selling my super nice ultima 100% winning car to buy an RC10 graphite team car the ultima was super nice i sold it to an club member and he was very exited to use it but it got stolen the night before the race he was devistated and bought un pro xl ultima  for the ensurance money stupid kid.

Regret trading my RC10 graphite team car not 100% winning but made top 3 every time i used it except for one time when i lapped the field and and the battery dumped 10 feet from the finish line i was TQ dough for an wastegate and some other turbo stuff that i actually didnt use.

I guess it would be working at a hobby shop in 1988 with 25 fresh from the factory Yokomo YZ-10's and not buying one.

I gave away an original RC10. That was in 2000. I also sold a Optima Mid SE with graphite chassis for $100 back in 94.

For me it was throwing out all of my spare stuff from my racing days when I moved out of my parents house years ago. I had all of my spare Losi parts and just about every RCCA ever made until 1994. That kills me to think about that stuff being gone.

Thankfully though, i still have my first JRX-T (mostly) and LXT.
35 years of RC and still broke!

I've been in RC since I was 14 waaaaay back when and raced all the time at our local track in Upstate new York. I got married in 1995 and moved to Florida (not by choice but it all worked out). I took all my RC stuff with me but wound up selling all but my RC10T. I kick myself every day for doing it, however over the last ten years I have built my collection back up. Now that I'm doing it all again, I'm not getting rid of anything. My wife had come to terms with my hobbies years ago so I'm safe there.

I bought a New Rookie Rabbit back in 1994 or 1995, for those of you who know this buggy it is the less known brother to the Fighter Buggy.
I saved up for almost a year to buy it, and then when it came, I sent it back and bought a original Traxxas Rustler, not the crap one they sell these days 8)
I bought a Fighter Buggy about a year ago thinking it would be the same, but it wasnt. I just remember looking at that ad for it over and over again, night after night. Just waiting for it to arrive in the mail...it was almost unreal. I guess that would be my biggest mistake in this hobby.

I'd say the cars I miss the most are my fiberlyte yz10 works car that I sold in ebay for like 150 buck (I gave them the complete works car AND the FB tub), and possibly my FG Leopard

After looking back, I also remember getting a really nice yokomo se from a local "crook". Since we only raced dirt oval, (1988) we took 2 of them and cut them up so we could use the front end on the back with 2 chains to copy the Dominators layout. It worked well, but two 14 year old kids could not even afford a good 7-cell battery, much less, good modified motors to compete with it. We just kind of trashed it and used it for screws and stuff. Ouch!
