Re: Composite Craft TRX-1 Double Decker
Not I, the guy whom got about 90% of the real good stuff, Jimshobbyshop aka Jsourbeck (Jim Sourbeck). I've only got table scraps.
Back when the taking was good, I didn't care about this stuff. I can distinctly remember going to an LHS with a friend that works for FoMoCo and seeing the shelves full of old stuff, but I didn't even think twice about it then. Another place told me that someone from G.R. bought a shelf load of MIP 4X stuff, coming from G.R., I can only assume it was him. But, you are right, there isn't much of anything left in Michigan. I have tried in my travels throughout that state (the wife and I like to travel). There are a few other people up that way that know exactly what to look for and have jumped when they had the chance.

I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I know traxxas copied many of the ae parts. I wonder if a motor plate from CC for the rc10 would line up with the holes of that tranny? I have one on my rc10 graphite and it matches your towers and chassis perfectly.

I have something that the great scr8p has never even seen!!!?

I found it NIP at the bottom of a bargin bin in some hobbyshop. I also dug out front and rear CC shock towers to match. I got it all for under $10
Im not good at the picture deal. Infact I've never even tried posting pictures but I'll see what I can do.

Great build, Cedric. I have a set of those shocks - I wondered who made them.

Re: Composite Craft TRX-1 Double Decker
Mike, I didn't try to put in any electronics.
I will take a look and advise you about this.
But Top deck is always a problem for the steering servo.

Yep,
Not so easy.
But for the after sale, we could ask Ruffy.
He mat the guy who designed this double decker

Re: Composite Craft TRX-1 Double Decker
yea ill ask ruffy, i cant figure out a way for the life of me.
i tryed mounting the servo mounts the opposite way so the servo sits in the middle and use a longer arm to clear the upper deck. seems like it would work, im using a A&L bellcrank on mine so the height is there

Here is what I did with the steering servo install. Stock holes, and stock pieces. I think it should fit with your top plate. -Jeff
