Longboard sorry its a 550 or traxxas titain fan cooled motor the can is longer but there is a larger diameter on the 750 they have 3x the torque but a larger can and you most likely wont be able to pull it off if space is a concern also the mounting screws are wider by maybe an 1/8". The pic was mostly to show that brand recognition is wasted on the run what you brung crowd, I have four beautiful children and I tend to try what I have on hand out because that's what I have to work with, while I adore my hobbies it is more important to me that the kids can explore theirs after all your only a kid once. I hope this helps there is no gain you'd get from a 700 series that you couldn't duplicate with a nice brush less set up but that's another topic. If it makes you feel better it doesn't fit well and doesn't perform as well as a silver can motor in that particular car. Now if we were talking geared boats........ well another topic too I suppose. I hope I was helpful.
Ha btw as Eyore would say, "Thanks for noticing" have a good one and if your in the Tampa bay area give me a holler while I may not win in a race I have four demons backing me up and they don't take any excuses............ Trust me I have tried........ Really tried but we don't talk about the pony anymore, I also have an excellent recipe for horse ribs if you are interested sweet and spicy!

oh ok i didnt think it was a 775 but i wasnt sure.. the reason i asked cause if it fit the same mounting points as a 540 i would try to get one and try something different..thanks for saving me the time by telling me the mounting points are wider by maybe an 1/8. i know brushless set ups are much better. i just dont want to spend that kind of cash
Longboard I didn't want to put you off of a potential project, just wanted to let you know some of the issues you'd face in re-motoring to a 700 series. I too would like to go brushless and Lipo but for the same reasons as yourself I have not.
