Re: RC150 Build - My First AE 1/8 Nitro Onroad Car
I finally got my cheap CNC to start playing ball by simply lying to it about certain parameters. :D I have to tell it that bits are smaller than they actually are so that it will cut further, and after more testing, this works just fine. I need to see if there is a possibility that I can write this ...

Re: The dog thread
I'm trying to watch the Tyson fight and Cali is chewing on her beaver. I told her that Penthouse ended their Beaver Hunt section years ago, ... unfortunately.

Re: QIDI Plus4 - 3D Printer
WoW! QIDI just sent me an email with a DHL tracking number, that board is on the way here - now.
Also got a .PDF, and a .MP4 on how to replace it.

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
This is planned for a TPU highly flexible and elastic and from the feedbacks I got from a friend used to print this type of material, it might be required... I'll try this way, if it doesn't work or unwind the filament, I'll change the design... And for the ball bearing, I designed a printed one... ...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I put a lot of efforts to make this easy to use and print, with a few modifications in the parts to remove the supports requirement during the print. At the end, I had only one part where it was still required. I included some material to be removed post print to avoid supports. I also included smal...

Re: Letting the air out of a 6016 and 6020 kit sealed since new
I'd be lying if I didn't admit to cracking a few open myself. Interesting to see the batt in 2 halves. Or was that an illusion? Pretty sure the other 6020 that I did open up had the battery with the halves bonded together somehow. I'd go look, but a forum member bought the batt. I also don't recall ...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines
I'm happy to report that my very first print was a success.
The transmission housing required only 1 hour and 10 minutes to print and the P1S wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be.

Re: A&L Custom Team Truck #4 of 5 or 6
I figured it was a Booker paint job but wasn't totally sure and didn't see his signature on it like I had seen on others...and the DW designs body looks perfect!GoMachV wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 2:24 pm Thats a Booker painted body, and D'wayne Walter (DW designs https://www.facebook.com/DWalterDesigns) painted the tribute for Adam.

Re: RC150 Build - My First AE 1/8 Nitro Onroad Car
Had a little time earlier today to get the throttle and brake links set up. This is not Asso correct, and purists may cringe, but this was my way to go about it. Still need to get to the steering linkage. I bought some square shaft Futaba servo horns, but on top of them being weird and square, appar...

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Little more done, my focus has really been on my 21.5 car- and the B2.4 hadn't gotten much attention. Still more to do but scrounged up some electronics. This HW stock spec V3.1 isn't shabby at all on track, neither is the Reedy SP5 17.5...and my favorite Futaba S9551 servo. Can't get a ruling from ...
