Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance

So far they are showing the 1989 car and description so it's hard to say what we are really looking at currently. I thought they were just cataloging the old kits but they haven't done any of the others :?:

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Amain just added a bunch of 40th kits, shows 107 available as of this minute. Makes me wonder if there really was another batch. Curious to see any numbers that come out of this run

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?

You wont regret it. Its sweet! The changes were mostly going to 3mm screws, although the front bulkhead is 4 screws now. I'm thoroughly impressed even though I hate the shocks.

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance

yes, from the same playbook they have used what like 3 times now? Happy little "accidents" lol. This makes me think it might just be real.

Re: Factory Works Ten4.1 project

You really need to read up on our FAQ and parts list to get the full idea of what we did but it uses a stealth diff up front and will have, as with every 4wd, slightly less steering than a 2wd, but the same as a Kyosho optima or similar 4wd of the era. As the maker of this conversion, I can say whol...

Re: Are brushed motor bearings press fit or glued?

They are press fit in the case and slip fit in the endbell. Yes, you can swap a bushing for bearing. If the shaft is messed up from a pinion screw eating into it you might have trouble getting the bearing past it, so you may end up filing the shaft slightly.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finally had time to sit down and reassemble a Wildebeest I took apart a while back and cleaned up. Got a bunch of new pieces from Crunchy and it all went together nicely. I'm pretty good at the transmissions now, I've been told they never go back together correctly but this one was fine. I did end u...

Re: Help, who made these chassis for me way back when

I think I may be the one that cut the TMS chassis, pretty sure you had an original and we used it as a pattern. This would have been back in the pin router days.

Re: RC10Talk logos by Dangeruss - Choose your favorite

If the new logo is based on a Team Associated logo, I would highly recommend getting the blessing from Curtis or Steve in writing to avoid any future IP problems. AE has made it clear in the last couple months that you aren't even allowed to use the word RC10 or Stealth, so copying an outline or pre...
