Update on the shock binding issue and AE Green Slime...my shocks got slimed! :mrgreen: I took the new set, which needed to be fully disassembled anyway as they had very little oil inside them, and dabbed a tiny bit of Slime on the shafts and O-rings, as these shocks have removable bottom caps making...

The paint turned out great, IMO it sure looks a lot nicer than the box-art paint scheme.

I used FasKolor paints for that, FasPearl Gold and FasBlack, which is just a non-metallic solid black. I usually back metallics/pearls with silver or white. I backed the gold with FasKrome on that body. FasKolor is water-based airbrush paint. I love the easy cleanup and no nasty fumes.

How do the mounting posts & standoffs hold up with 3D-printed material compared to the original plastics, as far as self-tapping threaded parts go?

Nice, I love those Cross upgrades. The Optima chassis in its stock form tends to push and understeer a little under acceleration, so hopefully your widened track will help it steer better. That's a great question. Why did 1/10-scale cars get significantly larger? Lord knows.
