If I know I'm not using the car I still use green slime and a few drops necessary to assemble the shocks, but I don't fill them. This way they stay lubricated and if I change my mind it's just a fill and bleed and off we go.

A Schumacher 6786 will fit the rears if you trim about 1mm from the inner mounting bead. I turned the tires inside-out and trimmed them with body scissors. They have a wide profile, so shock clearance can be tight at full compression if you use the outer hole. A Traxxas 1771 fits the front perfect. ...

I went to pirate ship and include mandatory insurance. The insurance is not very expensive and they deal with the post office. I’ve yet to ever get a reimbursement off usps insurance.
