The 'Family'.

I think I have a touch of OCD. What began years ago with the purchase and restoration of a JRX2 because I thought the 5 link rears were funky, turned into buying and restoring with box art bodies, every Losi buggy, touring car (Street Weapon IWCE) and truck made, from the first JRX2 until drawing th...

earthquake this morning

Just learned of the 6.9 earthquake that occurred near New Zealand a few hours ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to our friends down under.

Members please chime in when you can and let us know how you and family are doing?

Re: Mugen Super Sport rebuild

I have been slowly plugging along with this build. I try to spend an hour or more on it each day. Everything needs to be disassembled, cleaned, and resurfaced. The chassis and top plates will be stripped, and re-anodized. Some of the hardware will be replaced. The ones that are kept need a lot of cl...

Re: Old Pistol grip radio question

Thanks, I found the Kyosho Pulsar just after I posted that. I remember being so frustrated at the cost of radios. Frustrated by the cost of a lot of things R/C as a teenager for that matter.

Re: RC12L NIB

The difference in your scenario would be as follows. Your car has 3 miles on the odometer and you can buy one that looks just like it for $200 and drive it daily  I like to keep kits in the boxes but I like to have a built example as well. I see both sides, but once it’s built it’s loses that l...

Re: Starting a best shock argument !

Best all around shock? Hands down, I’m a Kyosho gold guy. Best shock that held oil the worst? Delta. Best shock that is nearly impossible to bleed? Delta Best modern shock? Too many to choose from. Most overrated shock? Trinity hands down. Complete rubbish Most interesting shock? Progressive technol...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Reached 70 today and saw the first toad of the year in the driveway tonight after picking my daughter up from a school thing. Always nice to see as a sign of spring. Hard to believe these things survive the cold winters here.

Re: Currently Playing

I'm jumping in here late but leo moracclio is awesome. (Frog leap studios). My favorite rendition of Africa with a KILLER out-tro riff.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2021 ** - Winner - dinglem

The Diamond One look'n good! That's the REAL DEAL folks :P If the voters knew where the mechanical speed control was located and what it looked like and how secretive it is, it would have gotten more votes...and its not cause its a plastic babys toy like Brian thinks  ....the proof is he didn'...

Re: Losi XX modern runner build

I removed the rest of the clear anodizing and polished it all up. I mounted it up to the transmission using the Factory Works motor centering kit. I think this works really well with the milled motor plate and MIP outdrives. They all share the same look of machined and minimal. These are the Factory...
