Re: Stadium Blitzer rebuild
When you flipped the blocks, did you shorten the hinge pins? If not, they will interfere with the links. I also used the Tamiya HD servo saver, which has a slightly different geometry than the original. But to answer the question, it will never be great. At the end of the day, its still a beginners ...

Re: Stadium Blitzer rebuild
I have no time to re-engineer this thing, I want to be bashing (and crashing (and trashing)) by the weekend. Not to spend more of your money, but I'd highly recommend these AmPro braces if bashing and crashing are in the plans. Re: What steering servos is everyone using?
Unless you are racing or have some high load application, the 3305 is probably fine. Unless they are letting you down in some way, I'd keep using them.
Roughly half of my cars have Futaba analogs in them. The rest are various other brands, mostly analog.

Re: My first RC10 Gold pan -- PLEASE tell me what I've got
Some esc will have controls that can make up for the lack of a slipper clutch and can be made to be more gentle then a vintage brushed setup. The same can be said about several newer brushed models. Several that were designed with crawlers in mind are loaded with features. Even many of the better v...

Re: Newbie seeking easy paint and sticker scheme for RC10 gold pan
The yellow is a reproduction Protech 1. The blue is a JConcepts Detonator Worlds (the red car is as well). Note that the blue car has a different front setup, requiring that the body be cut more. IMHO, the JConcepts bodies have a little better fit than the vintage and reproduction bodies. The metall...

Re: My first RC10 Gold pan -- PLEASE tell me what I've got
I have a set of the rears, they definitely aren't 2.2.
Even if they were, a modern 2.2 tire is wider.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Somehow, saying that you suck seems inadequate.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got another graphite chassis. Based on the shape and finish, I think it's a TQ10. It ain't perfect but whatever. Picked up some more axles and dogbones. Shortly after, I learned that JC Racing was releasing new universals. Found a Duratrax Powerline motor, 17T. I've been wanting one for a while but ...

Re: Factory Works/A&L streering
The Factory Works owner is very active here. I'm sure he'll be along soon enough to answer any questions.

Re: Help.... Was wondering if someone could help ID
It's a 27T, 24° motor.
Regardless of what it was originally sold as, I'd likely put this label on it.

Just don't try to sell it as such.
