When you flipped the blocks, did you shorten the hinge pins? If not, they will interfere with the links. The matching rear wheels fit 1/4" axles, not the 3/16" that you have.

Unless you are racing or have some high load application, the 3305 is probably fine. Unless they are letting you down in some way, I'd keep using them.

Roughly half of my cars have Futaba analogs in them. The rest are various other brands, mostly analog.
