Replacement Rea

Post by hav3rchuck »

Anyone know where I can get something like this for my RC10 classic?
Image

Rebuilding my Cadillac RC10 and figure why not upgrade a few bits while I am at it :-D

Are there longer rear arms that might be necessary to get something like this to work?

What are you going for?
The more common change is to go for a 3/16 axle from the 1/4" if you are upgrading.
if keeping to the 1/4" axles you can buy some UJ's off e-bay.

JC Racing will be releasing some soon. Keep an eye out. Otherwise you are stuck with expensive vintage parts or marked up defunct rerelease parts.

You had to say that, didn't you.

I was about to order some wheels and control arms. Now I'm thinking of waiting. :?:

The rear arms will be the same length. if you are using the dog bones or universal joints. You won't need the springs or spacers that are used with the dogbones.

I often see universal joints online for what seems reasonable, but if new ones are available that would be good as well.

you can look at the rc10 team car manual to see the rest of the shims needed for the installation

I don't know, but I bet the release party will be B.Y.O.B.

Is there a specific website where they announced this? I would be interested! :-D

I cannot seem to find the worlds replacements for them at the moment.

They are not released yet but I suspect they would pop up on the vintage page

Like most businesses these days JC Racing makes their product announcements on their Facebook page https://m.facebook.com/wheel89/
