If the motor is shot and you are missing other gas related components, it looks like a good candidate for electric conversion.
Mine is brushed and uses NIMH batteries, because that's how I roll. But a nice brushless and 2S will blow a gas motor away.

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
I use a large (like 1/4") chisel tip for batteries.
With that braid on the batteries, you might have to flood some more solder into it for better heat transfer.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
There is also the dark grey King Blackfoot chassis. Like the Bush Devil, the ORV chassis is the only thing in common with earlier versions.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Does anyone know the size of the "Bellcrank Shims" used on RC10 Worlds (ReRe) ? - these shims are included in the ASC6254 Bellcrank Set Or is there a good alternative to replace these shims? Thanks! I use these: https://www.amainhobbies.com/crc-1-4-shim-set-20-cln4732/p33151 Same shims th...

I use these: https://www.amainhobbies.com/crc-1-4-shim-set-20-cln4732/p33151 Same shims that I use on 1/4" axles. Ohh nice. And those fit well/snug on the steering posts? Yes. I have used them in place of the nylon versions. The JConcepts bellcranks are aluminum copies of the Worlds version, a...

Re: Any ball studs or ball ends with 2.6mm threads?
Just got around to fixing mine. 2-56 ball ends and conical spacers. Ball and spacer opened up the allow the M2.6 screw to pass, and plastic end opened up to 3/32.

Re: Fan RC FR-01
Sounds like an exact copy of the re-re Words transmission, problems and all.
The fix for them was an early style case and idle gear. Luckily, Associated is supposed to have some later this month.

Depends on your taste. They don't even make my top five from that era.

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'
Is it safe to assume that this thread started because of a disagreement with someone else? If so, you only need one word to shut them down: Eagles (they hadn't split yet). Probably the single most talented group of musicians to ever play. And while ZZ Top and AC/DC weren't as mainstream, still much ...

If so, you only need one word to shut them down: Eagles (they hadn't split yet). Hell, Zeppelin, the Who, and Floyd were still together at that point in time. Hell, there are countless others. I went with the Eagles just because of their overall talent and amazing live performances. And that...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - August 2024 ** - Winner - kandkhobby13
Picked up this as a partial slider and pieced it back together, mostly when parts that I already had. A stamp, modified for inline battery, DS servo saver, Factory Works towers and transmission brace, and Tamiya turnbuckles (weird, right?). Body is a JConcepts Protector with reproduction Cox Bandido...
