Re: SRB Free Styling
I've been asked if I could make the files for the bodywork available for free and I will but they are not so useful without something to hang them on , the front parts only need something simple under them as the frame is mostly unseen but the rear frame is much more visible . I have no plans to mak...

Hilux/King Cab - Kyosho tranny swap
So I saw a "Vintage Truck" for cheap on the Bay, and even though it had no body, I knew immediately from the picture that it was a Hilux Monster Racer/King Cab l and I had to jump on it. When the package arrived, it was dirty, had Clodbuster shocks, Hilux body mounts and tires with King Ca...

Re: Original Ultima popularity question
I wasn't aware of any behind the scenes dealings but maybe there were. I was in college at the time and a fairly avid weekend racer. Myself and about 10 or 15 racer friends from our home track in Springfield traveled frequently to races throughout central Illinois, down to St. Louis and even to Dav...

Re: Hello from Beautiful East Tennessee!
Yes, I have a '73 Cuda 340! It's my baby! Here is the RC10, it was converted to onroad, mostly raced in parking lot oval series in the Buggy Class with a stock motor. Dad did most of the modifications, this was around 1990-91. I just pulled it from storage, I have more parts that I am going to rescu...

Re: SRB Free Styling
WOW that's a bit of an essay question but I'll give it a go . Firstly there are many types of 3d file you can download , many are basically for on screen graphics only because they comprise of surfaces without any depth , this works on screen but if you want to print them you need to be able to make...

Re: It's starting now (Apr2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
RCCW towers - I haven't followed up but a few months ago it looked like RCCW had disappeared from the radar screen... Anyone knows more about that? The FB page hasn't been updated since Feb17 either :( https://images2.imgbox.com/3e/8a/lpqSUWrj_o.jpg I just love using vintage RC tools when building v...

Re: Subaru Impreza rally car build
Nice, what chassis is it going on? I've got the Tamiya lancia rally body that I got with the TT-01 about 15 years ago, detail is really very good.

Re: SRB Free Styling
It's hard to make printer recommendations but what I'd look for now would be 1 all metal hot end so you can run high temp plastics 2 easy to enclose to keep heat in as some plastics warp unless in an enclosure 3 auto bed levelling ,it just makes it less faff 4 removable bed 5 dual drive extruder , t...

Re: jwscab's Cliff Lett ROAR 90 replica
Agreed. For a shelfer, it's totally perfect solution to add some paint. The Tamiya olive drab matches really nicely with the mid shade hard anodized shock bodies.
