Re: RE RE STEALTH TRANS
Yes, but as I showed in my video the idler is most of the problem  FYI, there is a guy that is making a replacement Idled gear for the new "China" stealth transmissions. The gears are aluminum and worked great in the tranny. It's a lot smoother, almost as good as my 20 year Stealth ...

TEN-SCTE vs TEN-SCTE 2.0
I am looking at getting in to SCT, and I hate to say I don't want to use Team Associated. I had a bad experience with a RE-Worlds. So, I was told to look at Losi. I was thinking about going with either a TEN-SCTE or TEN-SCTE 2.0. Does any one know the major differences and is it worth double the pri...

Re: Worlds info?
The case is a 6565 and the idler is a 6570. The idler gear that you linked from eBay is also the correct part. It will not work in the new China case, only the USA case...Which is the 6565 How do you know if it's a US or China case. I found this one" http://www.amain.com/Team-Associated-Stealt...

Re: Worlds info?
Tap the steering bellcranks with a 8-32 tap. I'd you don't it expands and even bearings will be a tight fit Ream the suspension with a .127 if you have one Grab a 6570 idler too, the stock idler was a source of friction. If you haven't seen my comparison video- I quickly show three variations; stoc...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
That's not going to fix your problem, contact AE about a replacement shaft. It was cut wrong. I got one of the first kits release and found out the hard way. Either email or call them, they are pretty quick about replacing it.RC104ever wrote:What's the part needed to shim the slipper plates on top shaft?

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I have run as low as a 8.5 in my original worlds trans car and it was fine. I was more competitive with that then my b5m, lol! Where did you get the coupon to get a world's rerelease that cheap? I have a project I wanted to do and would rather start fresh than rehabbing an eBay special. What was si...

Steering
Stupid question, has anyone had luck at tightening up the steering on the Worlds I have replaced the bell cranks with JConcepts and replaced the servo horn with a metal horn. I have a metal geared servo (Savox). It turns great, it just seems like it has way too much play.

Got the screws in other days, and they work great. The guys from Chief's were great to work with.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I jumped on one of these when I saw that Tower wasn't carrying them anymore and got one from Stormer for $200. It's been a long time since I've built a kit, but it went together pretty good. My only issue was the top shaft like others have mentioned. Mine doesn't let the slipper plate rub on the mo...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
So I got my trannys back from AE today and they run pretty smooth now. I had sent them to their service department because the gear mesh was rough and tight, and even after installing new idlers and top shafts directly from AE the transmissions were still lousy. I finally had requested new cases or...

Re: My worlds car.....gets mangled
I feel your pain, I had a RE-Classic that had about the same amount of damage, I let a friend drive it (my mistake) and he hit a parking brick at almost full power. Part of the bell crank sheered off and I ended up having to replace the entire unit. When I contacted JConcepts and I was told they onl...

Re: Shearing Bell Crank Screws
Maybe these will help this issue as well. http://www.chiefaircraft.com/hd-ms24693c8x.html 100 degree 8/32 phillips stainless steel. Nice! The price isn't bad either. I may have to order a few! I am going to try them too, they are about 30 minutes from my house and I am just going to their office to...
