As someone who has never gone anywhere near nitro-RC, this kit has tempted me in to that world, so I have ordered the kit & engine. But do I need anything else apart from RC equipment & fuel? Does stuff like engine starter & exhaust come with the kit? its a good idea after every time yo...

Very excited to open the box when it comes…what are the odds that ae continues the trend of rere’s and does a ft gt or something like that? Should i keep this one in box and wait for a more desirable gt?

The kit appears to come with universals…does that mean 3/16 or 1/4 axles?

SH .12 is the best option bang for the buck. Otherwise an onroad .12 engine. Pipe choice is very important and will wake the truck up.

I pre ordered one of these to for some vintage racing…what would be needed and or nice to have?

With modern RC tracks and tires, there is no to need hang massive weights over the rear tires to get forward traction, so the designers have gravitated towards centering the mass between the wheels for better turning and quicker ...

Not on par for modern performance. Mid motors dominate on carpet tracks, but a well set up rear motor buggy in 17.5 will be about a second or two off a mid motor car, so no slouch either. Hey all, i’m really liking the idea of building a rc10 buggy to be competitive at a club level….are these chassis able to keep up with modern 2wd cars? I race a pretty modded xx4 with fairly good results against modern 4wd buggies. Any thoughts on this the rc10 performance?

How does the graphite chassis compare to a tub for handling? I would think lots of flex from the graphite. Graphite is stiffer and lighter than aluminum, less flex, not more. Mine needs a new chassis as well and a screw kit. While I'd prefer new Yokomo stuff to keep this all original because mine is just for the shelf, I'll probably order a screw kit from RCScrewz or somebody to get me started.
