rc10 ds modern wheel conversion parts

I am starting to piece together my first DS and want to be sure of the parts needed to run modern wheels and tires. What is the easiest route to obtain the needed pieces and what are said pieces? I also saw CVD's from this place: Universal dogbones http://www.drcwonline.com/browse.cfm/universals-rc1...

Re: RC10t front body mount

Thanks for the info! The second ebay link was exactly what I was looking for. I am building a runner, although I don't have time to campain a race season I really love the indoor track not to far from the house and wanted to have something to run around it when I had the free time. (South Jersey ind...

RC10t front body mount

I just scored an RC10t off of fleabay, and I am having a hard time locating a new front body mount, 7318. Does something supercede this part, or is there a reasonable priced alternative? 12-20 bucks for this little piece doubles the value of the truck!

6 gear top shaft nut 5-40???

I finished the rebuild of my RC10 A stamp and the final piece of annoyance has been the top shaft nut clamping nut. The threads on my original are all boogered up so I seach for one on flea bay. I get one that the sell claims he threaded a nut on before he sent it. I can't get what I assume is the c...

It's alive, now with PICS!

Sorry for the tease last week, but I was able to take some pics of my restored RC10 to share with the board. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a2d703b3127ccef17890bf9de900000030O00AcMXLRszZNmgPbz4W/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a2d703b3127ccef1788c1e1c76...

This 81 tooth in particular? What would be a complimenting pinion?

48p spur for 6 gear

Now that I have my old RC10 running I am going to need to replace the spur gear. Who makes a suitable 48p spur for the 6 gear? My plan is to purchase the Trinity 19T "Double Ruby" SpeedGem brushed motor. The car is a back yard basher, what would be a good starting point for buying a spur/p...

rear toe questions

I have an earlier/1988 rc10 with the narrow rear track and it seems to have an excessive amount of rear toe in. How can this be changed/adjusted? I'd like to keep the car as close to stock as possible.

It's alive!

Over 2 months after finding my childhood RC10 in the attic she is on the streets again! I couldn't have done it without this board, ebay, google, and Johnnie Walker. Thanks for all of the help and encouragement.

From 1988 until 2012 this run has been a long time coming!

I have a gold pan without a body. What buggy bodies are still available new to fit this car? I would like the stock body or something close it it. TIA

Disassemble begins!

So the rebuild begins! I have decided to keep as much as possible stock but build a true back yard basher. The tub is pretty scuffed up and a few extra holes added but I am happy just to have this piece of my childhood with me still. When I found her she had RPM ball cups and some sort of turnbuckle...
