Well I've picked an airbrush, next thing is paint, what is everybody using? Createx seems to be widely available, was looking at the regular airbrush paint, does it stick to lexan? i see they have other types, Wicked and Auto Air, just not sure which is best for lexan, will also use it on hard bodie...

I tried to get the same pose as the original, not exact but close.
And Hugger you are right it was a color pic that I greyscaled.
Will get the pics resized and post them.
Have searched all over for more pics of the original, have only seen the 1 pic from the catalog.

Here's a pic of one of my favorite Scorpions, first seen the pic of it on rcchopshop years ago.
Was very lucky to be able to buy the rear cage, a part you never see for sale.
Will list parts used and more pics when I cut them down for upload.

Shame you are not happy with both of them. To be honest I'm happy just to have some bodies painted by the man, and was really excited when I read your 1st post. To me his paint always stood out, I remember seeing his bodies at the shops, no money for a clear body and a can of pactra much less a bada...

Have considered trying to fab one myself, for the amount of work required I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Really like the look of it, and yes its old school and cool!

I know with me I am so used to buying something and having it in a week or less. I have tried to keep in mind this is not one of those deals. I do think I was very lucky to be able to have him paint the bodies for me, they will be used for tribute buggies that he painted back in the 80's. BTW I did ...
