Re: my worlds runner/racer
Looks pretty nice! Do you have any way to make those pics bigger? Wouldn't mind seeing some upclose views. I was always a fan of the Worlds.

Race in York, Maine next Sunday 2-26-12
There's an indoor dirt track in York Maine called "Maximus" that's having a Ford Powerstroke Diesel sponsored trophy race next Sunday, the 26th. I'll be there with my Team Car if the RC demi-gods are smiling on me, and I believe another guy there has been racing his graphite Team Car latel...

Re: Newbie with a basket case RC10 project
The B4 gear cover does fit the old stealth. One screw hole lines up perfectly, and the other would need to be drilled out. Personally, I find that just one screw is plenty for holding it on, and I don't drill it out. I use a little nylon washer from the hardware store to clamp it on more firmly with...

Re: Diff just doesn't wanna stop being gritty.
(Hopefully) end of story. The diff got pretty gritty again. I think I was still running it too loose. I finally bit the bullet and bought an entirely new diff. New gear, new AE carbide balls, new thrust balls/washers, new drive rings. Could've bought some ceramic balls for similar money, but I bough...

Re: New here... Got some questions about my rc10
There's plenty of threads on here about putting B4 wheels onto your buggy. You'll need to switch out your axles and hubs I believe. You can try searching 'B4 wheels' under 'vintage forums.' JC Racing products also makes 2.2" wheels that fit the older 1/4" axles. RPM makes arms for the vint...

JC Racing wheels update
Hi guys, I apologize if this is the wrong venue, but I happened to get an email from John, the JC Racing guy who makes the 1/4" 2.2 wheels, and he wanted to let me know he's moving away from eBay soon. I guess he set up paypal directly through the website. The website's easy to find if you goog...

Re: RC10 Motor Restoration
You're right it is pretty hard to find just about anything but brushes and bearing for old motors. Someone could steam off some old labels, touch 'em up in Photoshop and reprint them. There's no reason you couldn't do those yourself if you've got a half-decent printer. I'm pretty sure those were jus...

Re: Where can i find some new dogbones?
your worlds car has dogbones? Perhaps you mean that the dogbone end of your CVD shaft broke? They tell me these fit the old 1/4" axle CVDs found on Team and Worlds cars. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAV59&P=7 I don't know this from personal experience, however.

Re: 6 gear question
Good luck I have been hunting on ebay for a stealth to bring mine out to brushless. I noticed it is like a gold rush trying to get these cars If you can't find a nice stealth on eBay, RPM still makes a gear box that converts a stealth to 2.65 ratio. Includes case, and a top shaft. I believe tower s...

Re: Long wheelbase tub racer, fugly but fast
This thread got me wondering. I guess the new B4.1 Worlds has a +8mm chassis. Anyone know if they decided to add it on to the front or the rear? Curious how AE's reasoning on the new buggies compares to what you guys are discussing on this thread.

Re: Replacement for the Stealth slipper pad?
Well they're usually pretty cheap, I might just order a B2 one and see how it fits. If I do I'll post that here.jwscab wrote:I think that the B2 parts might be the same as stealth, and the B3/T3 one is larger diameter.
