Re: Slot Cars
Very Cool!!!! Do you race slots in Buena Park? Whenever I’m in SoCal for work I try to make time for a visit, great group of guys. I drive by that place a couple days a week (when I go to the office at WCC), but have only been there a handful of times. It's a super cool place that old timer ...
Re: Slot Cars
Another vintage style car. Bug bodied dragster. Suicide front axle hanging out there, while a blown V8 pokes through the hood with headers blowing out the wheel wells. Drafted out the chassis to fit an old Pittman "padlock" style motor (with 7 pole upgraded arm). Bent it up on the metal br...

Looks great Gregg! The clear shock bodies are really cool. You dig up some awesome parts for your projects.
Re: Slot Cars
I got into the vintage 60s and 70s stuff a while back. Really liked Dynamic's chassis and parts. Digging it all out of storage now and realizing I've got about 10x what I thought I had... Since I'm a big VW guy, most of my display cars are VW based. Here's a slammed bus I built to look like ...

Re: You have too much R/C stuff when...
I'm finally unpacking my collection after moving. I had stuff in my old garage, my storage unit, my office, stored back home on the east coast, etc... I set up a cool shelving system to display it all on and keep having to buy more sections of shelves as I unpack more  I knew I had a lot, but...

Re: QRC Wild Dodge Ram and Field Baja Beetle
Theres a Field Baja on eBay right now but the seller wants two grand for it. Needless to say it keeps getting re-listed. I keep seeing that one too. Good luck with that sale! I'd love to have a NIB Field Baja in my collection, but for that price and trying to get it shipped to me, it'...

Re: QRC Wild Dodge Ram and Field Baja Beetle
What are they asking for them? I collect Volkswagen related R/C cars (well, really all kinds of VW stuff). I've got a mint, unused assembled Field Baja... but it's not NIB!

Re: Resurrection of the General Lee
That was an amazing restoration! I can't believe they got that car straightened back out. We had a replica of the General Lee at the shop for years. It was fun to take out to lunch or cruises, and blow through an intersection laying on the "dixie" horn  http://i47.photobucket....

Re: CRP Sprint conversion for SRB? Whats the word?
Airdreams.. I take it your a VW guy? I spy a Baja in your avatar! It's 9p here but I'm going to be near my storage unit, so I'm going to stop by and dig this chassis back out to inspect again and take some more pics. I'll be moving into my new place in about a month, so I'll clean it up and make a r...
