I'm running 24 tooth right now but I have a 16 as well from my old Joel Johnson Trinity. That might be too big of a step down though.
Here is a new word for ya. Rollout. I'll let you look it up.

Re: Benefits of a Stealth Trans?

The exposed diff on the 6 gear simply needs rebuilding FAR more than the internal on the stealth. The stealth diff also works better. The other stuff is just icing on the cake.

Re: Brushed motor dyno

The three screws, sounds very familiar but I can't recall the maker. Build your own, it's not that hard. I got one from Deiter and copied it and made several more. All components from radio crack. Basically you have one motor driving your "test" motor. The drive motor is wired for amp draw...

Re: Crystal AM or FM?

Did it for years with an XL2P. It only works with AM 27mhz if I recall. It definitely does not work with FM 75mhz. Found that out when I switched from the XL2P to the CS2P. I never tried it with am75 or fm27. Works like a champ, I did it almost all the time, just in case someone in the pits turned t...

Re: How long would it take you to build an RC10?

my first rc10 probably took a couple days but after working in a shop building them and racing them for a few years... The kit parts were so consistent that very little extra time needed to be spent on every little thing to get them perfect so for a customer build. Also racing 2-3 times a week durin...

Re: Orange Chassis RC10?

hard to say without seeing them together but the op's "orange" chassis looks like AE's "red"
also note that the motor plates were not offered in any powdercoat colors
Now find a nose piece and fix that thing up.
