My First RC10

Post by NitroNoob97 »

Hey, I'm a bit new here, but ready to learn a lot about these RC10 buggies. I just picked one up yesterday for $50 and it is pretty nice, but had a ridiculous body on it. My main question concerns the new and unpainted Pro Tech body and driver that were sitting in the box. I've heard that original ones can be worth a bit of cash, but I'm just not sure how to tell if this is original or not. Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks

Hi NitroNoob97 and welcome. There are lots of knowledgeable RC10 folks around here. If you can post a few pics, I bet they can help you out!

Does the body have overspray film on it? Are the window nets square or wavey?

Early bodies are made out of really thick lexan too.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Anyways, until I learn how to post pictures, I'll just describe it for now. The nets are definitely not straight as a grid would look, so I assume that they are what counts as wavy, there is no overspray film, but the lexan is not very thick either. I hope this helps, and thanks a lot.
