Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
Again, when Walt is ready, I'll drop off my Cadillac RC10 for bulkhead and 6 gear. I also have the 2.25 and 2.65 or whatever the T4 is. As far as the rear mounts, I'm sure if you look at the dirtoval terminator cars, you can find those. I just shipped out my Havoc but believe my Kranzel terminator h...

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
That would be neat. I do have the six gear in my car. Whenever Walt gets free to look at these cars, I'll have to point that out.

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
Just a heads up, talked to Walt. He's been trying to register on this site. Think the site believes he's a spambot or something. One of the questions asks what kind of RC car he has/had. He answered honestly and said he's not owned a real RC yet. I don't know if this is the issue. PM'd Scr8p...see w...

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
I stand corrected. At first I was checking this thread on my smartphone and noticed the color, tail and rims. Assumed it was a Mongoose Stylist...see next post. Something didn't see right with the rear of the frame. So once getting on laptop to see bigger pics, it's not a Mongoose. Believe it's a Ra...

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
From Walt. If you can mail/foot-express/send via trained squirrel the parts you're thinking of redoing, I can find the time to measure them/throw them on the CMM and get a solid model made up. In essence, if you can get me a plastic version of part X, I can make it metal. Would have to wait a bit, r...

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
I don't know...I know he's got all the crazy equipment to do the aluminum stuff. I can ask him, he might know what I'm talking about.

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
Oh, the ends...yeah, PM me your address, how many you need and we'll go from there. One of my soldiers says he can braze so we are going to attempt to build up more cars until I run out of parts. Then I told him I'd split any profits down the middle since he could use the cash. Ok, back on topic. Ok...

Re: Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and part
Ok, just so I'm tracking....is the rear bulkhead something not currently being made in aluminum? The only reason I ask is there are plenty of manufacturers out there that can probably push out tons of stuff to get you a lower price. I'd hate to have Walt build something that you can get $10 cheaper ...

Discussion about possible aluminum transmission and parts
Ok, wanted to stop posting up in PBR Allstar's thread. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21205 So there's interest in the 2.25 stealth and 6 gear. I've heard that a rear bulkhead and front mount might be of interest. Again, my friend Walt is more than capable than making these. It's ju...

Re: Narrow front tires
I actually have a set of narrow RC10t rims that came with my lot. They have foam tires on them. Think there might be rears too. But I don't know jack for what things are worth. If I did, I'd be on Ebay listing everything "vintage" to pay the rent. lol
