Could use your guys help with how I should gear my truck now that I went brushless. Motor: Turnigy Trackstar Outlaw 13.5T (2886KV) Trans: Stock stealth with the B4 Slipper mod Tires: HPI Yokohama Geolandar (4.05" diameter) Some initial research has told me that I want to keep my FDR and the tir...

Yes, I've been eyeing up the Trackstar 13.5 combo. What pinion/spur would you recommend with this?

Re: Any Budget Brushless Recommendations?
Hobbyking Xcar 120a, $40 and pretty much any budget hobbyking 8.5T to 13.5-ishT BL mill. I would NOT go 3S. the above seteup will already be 2x as fast as your usual 15T. Leave 3S to the youtube top-speed heroes. Any particular reason you like the 120a over the 60a or would that be a good choice as...

Any Budget Brushless Recommendations?
Looking to repower my 10T. I've been running 15T motors most recently. I'd like more power but still want to be able to control it. Truck has a freshly rebuilt Stealth trans with a B4 slipper setup. Looking for a system that is comfortable with 3s power if I occasionally want to go crazy, 90% of the...

Re: Aftermarket SC10 Shocks for 10T?
there are lots of rc10t shock lots on ebay usually. Unless you need NIP, those are usually a great deal. this seller is a very good guy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Associated-Rc10-Team-Rear-truck-Shocks-4911/132701262935?hash=item1ee59c9457%3Ag%3A1ncAAOSwTfFbR7g8&_sacat=0&_nkw=rc10+shocks&...

Aftermarket SC10 Shocks for 10T?
Hi everyone, I need some help locating replacement shocks for my 10T. I've searched on here and it seems that many of the shocks that have been recommended have since been discontinued. Can anyone please send some advice based on what is currently available? It seems also like SC10 shocks will work ...

Re: My RC10T Rebuild
They started out as chrome that was pretty nasty. They were all chipped up and I repainted them when I was a kid with a Testors paint marker
I stripped them with spraying them several times with Easy Off oven cleaner. It was pretty nasty stuff but it did the trick.

Re: My RC10T Rebuild
No, fronts aren't hex. Standard 3/16" axle. I need to try and find a solution for the rear axles, while running over the weekend the one of the rear axle nuts kept on coming loose. Maybe it's just because it's an old nylok nut and the nylon is all worn out? Has this happened to anyone else?

Re: My RC10T Rebuild
Rit liquid. I mixed two parts green to one part yellow. Then I dyed them on the stove and kept them in until I achieved the color I was looking for.

My RC10T of over 20 years
Wanted to share my recently completed RC10T Sport Kit rebuild. I've owned this truck since new in '95 and bought it with money saved from a summer of mowing lawns. It's been on the shelf for the better part of the last 10 years. The rebuild included completely rebuilding the diff and trans, rebuildi...

Re: My RC10T Rebuild
Truck is done for the most part. Body is from Andy Jacobson. He crushed it. Was exactly what I was looking for! Underneath isn't going to win any beauty pageants but it gets the job done. The truck is a great runner with the 15T brushed HPI motor and as me and my son's driving gets better I'll proba...

Taller Rear Body Mounts?
Hey guys, I recently had Andy paint up an Andy's RC10T body for me and it's not clearing the shock towers. I need a rear mount that will clear the rear shock towers. I was thinking of putting a set of the front mounts onto the rears to lift it up a little. Does anyone have any other suggestions? TIA!

Re: Help! Axles Binding, tried everything!
Got the WC rear hubs in and that definitely did the trick. IDK why I ever assumed the T3 rear hubs would work. Thanks for the help guys!

Re: Help! Axles Binding, tried everything!
Hi, I tried T3 rear hub carriers once and it didn't work. Get the ones jwscab said to, which are for a RC10 and 10T. Also did the tc3 diff rebuild kit come with 2 T-nuts? Make sure you use the short one. :) LOL yes I'm definitely using the shorter t-nut. I didn't know that T3 carriers wouldn't work...
