Re: losi mip trans lb 1000 2000

Beautiful trans ! I use this trans in my Jrx Pro runner and I have to agree with Asso-Man; its smooth. By far smoother than stock and smoother than the retro fit trans as well. It was easy for me to setup and has proven itself strong with no failures or issues of any kind on my lips/brushless setup....

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

Anything can be fast with todays electronics. My twin brushless Powers Clod is too fast IMO and I keep it turned down to 80% on the transmitter for controllability. I still would like to see the A-1's out there with the Clods, to my knowledge it was the Clodbusters only competitor at the time.

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

I agree the Clod is a more usable RC right from the kit. the Clod also has steering issues in stock form IMO; it is difficult to make simple adjustments to all the linkages going to the center single servo and the plastic arms attached to the servo savers in each axle break easily along with the ant...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

A USA-1 would be awesome to see and may have some potential in the right hands with the full independent suspension. I have an old RC magazine that tests both Clodbuster and USA-1 and the USA-1 scored higher than the Clod in the handling and jumping department. This of course is comparing stock for ...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

Parts are easy to find since the Clodbuster has been re-released by Tamiya.

Some of the Original parts such as the decals and original Chevy grill can be a little harder to come by.

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

Great action shots, thank you for uploading ! The new body works well with the chassis too. I am glad to see your Powers truck being put to good use :D I guess I do not understand how this could run in a vintage monster truck race? Is the Powers chassis really that old? How many were in the class ? ...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster

Thats a good deal, especially being that it looks to be in great condition. I had mine for sale once and decided that I can not sell it. The Powers is a rare, successful, reliable, and easy to work on chassis.

Re: My second XX4

Nice job that is a Beautiful XX4. I have always loved the handling of the XXX4 but it was very fragile in my opinion. I have heard the XX4 are more durable, would you say that is true?

Re: JRX-Pro "Modern" runner...

How did you go about mounting the 2.2 wheels? From what I recall, the front axle sizes are different, or are they not?
