Re: Traxxas Bandit indoor clay race build
Double post, so I'll nask my next question here, I really like your front shock tower, which one is that? The shock tower is pretty dope. It is this one: R-Designs CF shock tower (https://www.rdesignrc.com/shop/p/rdd4111). I am not sure it will work with the narrow front bulkhead of the TRX-1/TRX-3...

Dakar type body for SCT
Does anyone know who makes/made this Dakar buggy body. It looks to be based off the Schlesser Dakar buggy.

Re: Better Bandit-ing with 3D printing?
Yes I added foam between the ESC and battery to stop the pack from sliding back. I use the same one-sided weatherseal insulation foam on the bottom side of the battery brace so it clamps down and secures the pack better.

Better Bandit-ing with 3D printing?
A while ago I picked up my son a Traxxas Slash kit for his birthday to introduce him to a proper hobby build. The build made me reminisce of the Traxxas Hawk 2 and Traxxas TRX-3 I had back in the day, before I stepped away from the hobby years ago. Not having a car of my own, I picked up two Traxxas...

1/12 Can-Am Body Shell Manufacture ID
I picked this slick 1/12 Can-Am body up off eBay. After some research, it appears to be modelled after the McRae GM9 race car. The closest thing I been able to find is the Delta Plastik S0745, but it is wrong scale (1/8).
Anyone familar with who made this body shell?

Re: Gen 1-4 Traxxas racing trucks parts Q&A
IIRC there was a white and black version of the idler. For some reason, I remember the black ones being more durable. But to tell you the truth, I never had an issue with the white ones. But I was a stock motor club racer kid. Are you refering to the 30-T Idler GearMachined Aluminum (PN TRA1996X) ?

Re: Tiny Hawk?
Awesome project! I am curious where you found the Hawk CAD model. I picked up a pair of Mini-b's for my son and I to get him into the hobby ,which I am just now getting back into after years away. The 1/16 scale can make repair and maintenance challenging, they are blast and relative inexpensive ent...
