i dyed mine also, and they came out near perfect, which i could remember the colour of the dye

at our v nats I had to space my brushed mod motor back 2mm just so it wouldn't rub on the spur

I just figured its a "brushed motor" thing.

is the disk a full size "brick" or a smaller 2.5 inche size ? if its a brick, you would need a laptop with usb 3 or 3.1 to get enough power to run it, which is why most of them have a external psu. a usb3 "portable" drive also uses a ton of power, id be recommending a mains power...

I can still remember when it happened.

New Zealand was just waking up when it all happened and all the news channels were playing US coverage.

was the quietest day in Wellington (New Zealands Capital) that I can ever remember

sand it with 1000 grit wet sand paper, then use a clear lacour

will be as good as new 8)

having just given my car a sound thrashing at our vintage nats, I broke nothing

all my parts are the "shelfer" parts, no race parts

but all my parts came from the Netherlands too.
