Re: RC10 Edinger Fire Rescue
This is a magnificent effort you are putting in. I do a lot of restorations for personal vehicles and I know just how time consuming each process can be. True dedication.

Re: Ehh, what!! Top shaft 9601
That definitely is something strange. I've had some machining experience with cutting threads and as far as I know the machines we use wouldn't even be able to mimic that process even if you screwed up on the machine settings. Seems like whatever bit they were using wasn't set correctly, I bet an en...

Re: Good 6 gear RC10 article..
Would be very interested in hearing back from anybody who has tried this. I'm planning to rebuild my CE's 6-gear sometime in the next few months or so. Does anybody know if the RC10 bearing set that Boca sells comes with the outdrive support bearings? Somewhere I read to build 6-gear transmissions ...

Re: Motor label restoration
Someone on ebay has done Monster HP labels, I have not looked too closely to see how chrome they are. Ultrahive here was making really nice labels but he bounced. I would love to see you continue work. I have some Reedy Mr series and Sonics I could use new labels

Need help with UK ebay part shipped to US
I'm trying to locate this European license plate bracket for a Mercedes-Benz and its only available via UK or Europe. I was hoping one of our overseas RC10talk brothers could help me out. All expenses paid to anyone who can order this and have it shipped to them and then to me. http://www.ebay.co.uk...

I had always wanted to get one of these bodies for a project years ago but never came to light. Look forward to seeing a project with this lid and some paint on it!

4-post radio plate RC12i probably a later model, looks complete new bumper can be replicated. the original body is a good score with box in my book. pick it up for a good price, 12s are the next thing on the trending list

Re: - Early RC12i -
Great 12i, yes as collectors the markets with likes and dislikes will mimic real car collector markets. Original survivors are by far and beyond nicer to look at/collect than a shiny new restoration I believe. My vote, new tires and clean it with simple green and re-assemble! Just say NO! to peroxid...
