I had always wanted to get one of these bodies for a project years ago but never came to light. Look forward to seeing a project with this lid and some paint on it!

I like the copper colors a lot against blue anodizing.

A while back, on a scrap piece of lexan I took some 0000 steel wool to one side, then painted the opposite side with a fine flake and got a pretty convincing matte metallic. I still want to try it on a body, but it'll be a little labor intensive on a body like that with nooks and crannies.

Pimpin' purple, either with gold trim or two-tone. That's definitely a []D [] []V[] []D-mobile.
