Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
I'm pretty sure that diff outdrives are not correctly machined. The slot for the dog bones pin are deep enough but not the center bore. I remove a few material with a round drill bit (very few, 0.5 mm) and I have no more binding.

The chrome of these wheels is very very fragile, you can scratch them with finger nails.McPaavola wrote:Nice work with rims. How did you whiten them?
I decided to remove all the chrome with sodium hydroxide (hoven or drain cleaner, carefull, it's very corrosive on skin).

Nice Scorpions here.
I drilled my rims to make them Tomahawk style.
I made some exhaust with cutted Tamiya fake shocks.

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
I have a Sand Scorcher body clip but I really don't like it. For the rear I used the supplied alloy body post, screwed on one of the uper transmission case hole. Can't wait to run this one. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2014/07/26/14072610562917236512412908.jpg Smart! I like it. What did...

Re: Rc10L cleanup
I cleaned the transmitter, it's not legal to use it in France (75mhz is for radio and tv reporters), but I think it's a really cool looking thing. The body is too ugly (could have been in the POS challenge), so I bought a new 962 TBG (Andy's repro ?). http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2014/07/26/140726...

Re: Rc10L cleanup
Old tires have come off really easily with petrol, and original wheels are still in very good shape. Only problem is to found fresh tires... After a few research, I decided to use 6 front Tamiya F104 tires, with two tires glued on each rear wheels...a little expensive (30$ for 6 tires) and...
