Re: My cougar 2 project.
I'm afraid not, just to rub it in its in really good condition too, a bit too good to use really. As a fellow cougar fan don't suppose you have a spare layshaft do you? Nope, and just to rub it in they don't come up often either unless on complete cars  I'm sure someone here or oople will have...

Re: My cougar 2 project.
Looks like a fun project! It can be a gamble with auctions like this but as long as you didn't pay over the odds then it look like you did alright.

Re: Vintage Racing, what is original and OK upgrade?
Yeah true, it does sound like a fun event but I could see how it could get taken to extremes.
If it were me I would try and run it as stock as possible, and just upgrades the parts that were prone to break back in the day so I could make at least 1 lap

Re: Vintage Racing, what is original and OK upgrade?
What do you not like about those rules? Too strict or not strict enough. I can't help but think in the right hands a JRXT or RC10 whatever with really sticky tires and modern brushless/LIPO go like stink but clearly way faster than what we could achieve pre 95. That and of course there are huge dif...

Re: MY MASAMI TRIBUTE WCS
Oh ok. I just thought with those unique blue battery straps on a Yokomo WCS that you are Gary James Walker. My bad. Yeah I thought it was the same too, I guess Gary must have sold it to Andrew Andrews? Andrew, how come you deleted the WCS from your Facebook profile? https://www.facebook.com/profile...

Re: My first attempt with an air brush
Yeah this is cool, been tempted for a while but was put off as I have limited space and adequate ventilation. Water based paints which don't require ventilation? Sounds great!
Keep the paint schemes coming!

Re: RC10 Graphite #6030
I often look at buying NIB kits that I owned in the 90s but i always think "what the hell am I gonna do with it?" just leave it there sitting in its box.
One dream would be to wrap them up and open them on xmas day!
Keep it sealed and/or sell it. Find yourself a runner

Re: Body Paint Removal
Has anyone tried sandblasting? I'm thinking Very low psi with a fairly aggressive grit. I had 2 cougar chassis that were painted with rattle can paint, I could have stripped it in 5 minutes with Nitro Moors. They were being shipped a guy who was bead blasting a load of parts for me. I asked him if ...
