I've never seen early aluminum MIP bones before with the slight step down before the pin, very cool!
Technically...I bought it for my birthday 2011, so I've been sitting on it a while

The early ones had different packaging, darker anodizing, the step and a smaller barrel than the later ones...assume-ably because of breakage at the step-

I know the feeling. I constantly ask myself "Why do I not have a camera on me and ready??" :( I have visions of a wrist mounted camera that allows me to take brilliant shots in the blink of an eye like Spiderman shooting a web or Iron Man using his thrusters... Wow I'm a DORK!!!  Coming along very nicely though. Love those shocks!

Very nice! 8) You're like a super hero! Now we need a name...

"TRIPOD" is out because that's me; although it has nothing to do with photography.

"EXPOSURE MAN" - Say it in your deepest announcer voice and you're in! :D

Although you will need to buy a T-shirt that says "I'm not a registered sex offender".

If by "Trisexual" you mean I once tried to have sex with a tricycle then yes. Yes I am. The bicycle shop dropped the charges though so you can't really count that.

Sorry! I will be as the Raven and disrupt this thread nevermore... nevermore...

Nice to see some of the parts I sold getting used.

P.S. if that is the motor you got from me it is an 11 triple not double.

It is the same motor 8) your probably right, the written tab on the motor was faded out- in fact, that MX-C will probably be going in here too 8)

I still have the PM from when I sold it to you with the pic of the header showing and legible. I looked it up last night cause I didn't think double seemed right.

Now assemble the batteries and put the MX-C in that sucker.

That is a cool build! I like it so far ait has some trick parts! I really like the look of those shocks too. Did those typical come with that kit or are they aftermarket?
