1911 Colt, did you have an early Bolink Digger with a Jerobee chassis?
This link shows a red VW Bug with a black Jerobee chassis, but they also came in grey.

Recent project, my "Junk box Hero"

As the name implies, it was mostly built from my junk boxes. While it does several new parts on it, the only things actually bought specifically for it were the body, servo saver, and lower chassis brace.

It is comprised of Tamiya Blitzer parts that were leftover from my other four builds (and the FXT).

Other than the motor, I might have $15 in the electronics. All stuff that was bought in parts lots or just outright cheap.

The wheels are repainted Hilux/King Cab wheels. I stripped and painted them as a test run for painting my new FXT wheels.

That might be it! :D I found a pic of a black one that looks a lot like mine in this thread: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=28890&start=60 and a gray one on the interweb.

But the closest is the one from here:https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=28890 Countach was another body option listed on the box, and there is a Countach in the pic, so that must be it :D

Another question but didn't want to jam it up with a new topic...

Were Composite Craft shock towers generally glass fiber based or did they come in that frosty/satiny finish with the light colored middle layer? I guess generally/for the most part, 3mm gloss finish black fiberglass or carbon fiber same/similar to chassis material?
Hope you're doin' something fun.

The front tower on my WASP 870c which i just posted in the Yokomo forum is a Composite Craft example.... kind of a matt black graphite outer finish with a lighter material sandwich. The ones on my UK Lightweight Racer thread car are the exact same material (from D&D Graphite.... so before the Composite Craft name).

Seriously, who drives a car with bushings to this point?

These 5mm axles are less than 4mm at some places.

A kid who enjoyed the crap out of that frog! And had no money for upgrades. Surprised that he was able to run it that long and not have serious hex drive issues.

I might have some grasshopper axles that look like that.

Not sure you'd notice much difference when driving a Frog like that, compared to when new.... they're not the most precise-handling vehicle :P

It may have. It was a ~$25 parts car, that was missing the outdrives and axles.

Anyone know of any other cars that used shocks similar to these Dominators?

Delta made them I believe. Not sure if they were on any Delta cars but would imagine they were. I'm not familiar enough with their models to know which cars though.

How much of this junk do you have laying around?
Screenshot_20230416_125413_Gallery.jpg
This was just the stuff that at hand, most unopened. I didn't bother looking through kit boxes and such. I also counted about a dozen bottles of kit shock oil (mostly Tamiya yellow).
