Just where did you find all those nib kits? Did you do what I should have done years ago and buy two of everything? The best part would be to smell all those kit parts fresh from the box! Especially the tires!

All over the place. No particular spot. I only buy when they are reasonable tho. It’s pretty rare that I splurge on them.

Got a large lot of parts in the mail yesterday and today, including Tamiya bodies and a couple of chassis, and boxed but untested ESCs from Futaba and Novak. Along with everything else, this little gem was a welcome bonus! This is a Tamiya Acto-Power TRF-Tuned motor... and I know they must be rare, because I had to look it up to find out what it was!!!

Certainly, it needs a bit (read: a LOT!) of a clean, but it's rarity alone makes this the needle in the large pile of needles  . As a comparison, a new rotor (armature) for one of these sold recently for almost US$50, and there's a new can up for sale currently, with a price tag over US$80... and that's the only two items I can find on eBay!

Much better day  :) 8)

Not exactly "in-the -mail"
I had to travel 1500 miles to a secret non- LHS.
Mixed in some sight seeing while we were there.
And it was my wife's idea. 😁😁😁
