Finally finished my Blackfoot build.

Post by Brandon G »

Been draggin my feet on painting the driver. Had some spare time over the holidays and got her done. I can finally put this project to bed.

It's got all kinds of goodies... CRP front HD spindles, CRP rear HD bearing holders, adjustable motor mount, Revtech stock racing motor, Thorp ball diff with the dogbone drive, You-G shocks, rear swaybar with skidplate, See's wheels, full bearings. There is a lexan cover over the pinion gear too, even though you can't really see it.

Very nice. I always wanted one of those as I had the Frog back then, but never picked one up.

I always loved the box art Black foot. A friend of mine back in 1989 wile I was working in the hobby shop came in and saw it and went nuts over it because he had a real F150 painted just like it. the See's Set it off!! nice build

Thanks for the kind words!
Yes they are You-g shocks, and yes I wish they were natural aluminum or black anodize. But hey, they came with the truck when I got it, and friction dampers will NOT be going back on! :D
