Buy a new one will hands down give you the best results. Seriously.

I have used this stripper for a couple years now (Citristrip gel) works much better than brake fluid and does not seem to harm the lexan, infact I have left it on over night and still no damage to the lexan. You can buy it at home depot or lowes. I usually leave it on for about an hour or so it can be a bit messy use soft terry cloth rag and a soft brissel paint brush to get into the crevises you also should tape up the exterior to limit scratching it. Hope this helps

Gary's an Austrailian-'nuff said! (I'm a Kiwi-I'm allowed to rib Aussies!)

I scored a JRX Pro in a trade a few weeks ago.
The OG paint was there,on the inside, but there were three coats of paint on the outside, hiding it.
I used acetone on a Q-Tip...Rub-A-Dub-Dub.
Didn't make the lexan cloudy,either,worked a charm.
I had a couple of vintage Orion decals that had got wet in the packet and some of the print from the instructions had transferred onto them.Acetone on a Q-Tip to the rescue, again!
Perfection.

Buddy used some DOT Brake fluid. It wasn't over a whole body, just a part of one, but said he didn't notice any fogging and or damage to the lexan.

Not sure is anyones tried it.
