Rc10 Fusion speed tub build
Got a very nice fusion speed tub drilled for a stealth. Not totally sure on the direction of this yet, any suggestions? I'm going to fill the 2 little holes on each side of the chassis then seal it with lacquer.

Sweet mate you hit the jackpot.. Very nice. I am a team car fan so team style would be nice or a blacked out stealth type theme with carbon towers, newer shocks and a modern wing mount system... Jealous mate

This is what a chassis looks like with all aluminum parts. Can't wait to see what yours turns into! Were the Stealth tranny holes already drilled in your chassis?
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Re: Rc10 Fusion speed tub build
I'm one of those guys who would open a vintage RC10 box and build it. BUT, when it comes to a chassis like this, I'd either build a shelf queen and try to find more exotic parts, or just keep it as a desk ornament. I wouldn't run one of those chassis.

And I am the opposite...I'd run the clear coat off of that!!
I need to build another graphite car.

Re: Rc10 Fusion speed tub build
Nice example there, I would go for graphite towers myself and use only vintage items. The Stealth holes were never stock on this chassis, they must have been drilled by the previous owner. I would not run such a chassis either, simply because there is very few left intact and for a reason: they were quite fragile, especially because of the "bad" design in the rear end where the arm mount holes are too close to the edges and would break after the first roll over.mikea96 wrote:Yeah the stealth holes were there but not countersunk.
