I always wanted to get a Tamiya P34 6 wheeler. The first Tamiya P34 had a weak aluminium chassis with no suspension.

The re-re chassis is better but the front suspension was basic...

Until Top Rebel created a 6 wheeler conversion kit for its F1 car, that changes

Now I am working on a Tamiya Tyrrell 6 wheeler P34 but the 'Tamiya' car is left with only the Tamiya shell and some stickers....

Had no idea they reissued the 1977 6-wheeler.

Spotted this for $190 last night, and this fool and his money have parted ways - once again.

Have a Hobbywing 1060 ordered for it, as it definitely doesn't come with the ESC.

The paint and primer for this project is set to arrive today, finally. Really looking forward to getting this one finished. Need to continue to sand the nose, then primer, then paint.

HI!... O.k I picked up this original Tamiya Tyrrell P34 from Andyaus a little bit ago. Was in decent but rough shape. As soon as it came I started working on it. I always wanted one of these. :woohoo: I saved both mirrors and the two aluminum...

my latest score, a very tidy Tyrrell...380 motor included...very happy, been after one for a while...body needs a touch up,as does the driver, but overall tidy. got some decent period electrics for it too.
