Post by Bent »

Ok I know it is rc10 based with stealth tranny and a set of mip axles. I know it has new tires and wheels and a lexan body and for the smart asses yest I know its a toy rc car. lol

So the question is what chassis is this and what all info maybe scans do you masters have?

i could be wrong, i didn't really study the pic. i personally don't remember any other wire cages for the old rc10's, so it was easy to just throw the B&R name out there.

I've seen a couple of different style B&R cages on the internets, and I've seen more than a few wire RC10 sprint cages that weren't from B&R for sale on eBay.

I don't think that one is B&R because of the rear upper shock mounts. B&R used aluminum blocks that you could slide up and down the cage for different shock lengths...the upper mounts weren't welded on flat bits of metal like that.

I looked inline at a few B&R cages and you are right about there not being a shock mount like that on the rear shocks. Either way ive waited a few years to get one of these and now I have one. Personaly I prefer the shock mount on this versus the B&R adjustable mount. A allen scre on rounded metal wire just doesnt say stable to me. Now I just have to sit and wait and see how things go. I should have it friday. Will get fresh pics then.

It's a slick looking car. I really like it. What's to the left?

I have a B&R and although yours looks similar I would have to say it isn't . I have only seen 3 B&R cars and all were identical .

I dont. I have a buddy up here with a similar situation. Hand built copy pretty much and if I can ever convince him to lower the price, I'll buy it and post pics. Lol
