What body for an LSII?
Hi Folks
I'm ready to place a sizeable (10-ish bodies) order with TBG. Among other things, I need a body for a Blue Eagle LSII, and I'm *thinking* (ouch, it hurts!!! ) that the Nitro Hawk would be a direct fit...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-TRAXXAS-NITRO-HAWK-TRUCK-BODY-/151145670599?pt=Radio_Control_Vehicles&hash=item2330fbe7c7
Can someone please con/in-firm this is/isn't the case?
Otherwise, what's the other "easily sourceable" solution that's closest to the original? I've lost track of the TRX truck body generations... thank you for your help
Paul
Edit: Pls keep all love/hate discussions about TBG, or the accuracy of his shells, or the 1/11th scale, blahblahblah, out of this thread... cheers guys

Re: What body for an LSII?
The LS2 had a smallish "extra cab" and was slightler narrower than a BE LS body. That said, it should fit, and fit well still. The narrower LS2 body allowed smaller wheel well cutouts which were a little nicer in appearance, and allowed less dirt kickup into the chassis.

Re: What body for an LSII?
The correct body for the LS-II is part number 2511. Same body as the SRT. Good luck finding one of those.
The Nitro Hawk and Blue Eagle LS both use part number 1912. That is the body that TBG is selling. Should fit fine considering the BE LS and LS-II were the same truck aside from the upper chassis deck/battery boxes. Shock towers, body mounts, and chassis were all the same, so the TBG body should be a perfect fit on the LS-II.
Also, any O.E.M. or aftermarket body for the electric Rustler will be pretty much a perfect fit.
