I don't know anything about it.
It says J.G. mfg USA RC10 1/10 OPTIMA in the back.
I dont find anything when i search for it.
Is it new or is it vintage?
What do you know?
Any pics painted?

That looks exactly like an RC10 Protech body. Maybe it's some kind of Protech clone.

It is similar, but not exact at all

I had most of that body quite a few years back, the tail end was cut off. I am thinking this is the same one due to the side pods having the "ridge" run down them.

this is a super detailed 1/12 scale body that was used on a nitro car. what's cool is that the windows were cut out than added back to the inside of the body which i have never seen done before. also it was used on a 1/12 scale nitro chassis??? any...

Third gen Camaro dirt oval body. Paint job is a replica of the 1986 Helen Rae Daytona 500 car.

An estimated guess is the livery roughly dates the time it was built, narrowing the chassis possibilities slightly, etc.

I picked this up for $9.99 from a seller in France because I liked the unusual lines and kind of brutish look, I also think it would look great with a wing added...it was listed on eBay as a Frewer Mercury body. Does anybody know anything about this...

Thanks Alex, I think you nailed it. Glad it's an aftermarket body because it certainly looks better than the original Mugen Mercury body (IMHO anyway)!

Hey guys,

I was wondering what is the standard (US Measurement) Thickness of the RC10L Chassis, and does anyone know the type of Fiberglass used? I am trying to make a replica chassis with a few minor modifications.

Thanks, I will look out for some G10 /FR4 in that strength

As for the T-bar, they vary in thickness depending on what setup you want, and I was looking for the chassis itself. The composite craft T-bar could be a thin, or thick version.

For those of you who have decided to make a B4-B5 style semi-permanent rear wing, how did you cut the front 3/4 of the body, and how did you mount it?

Also, did you keep using the back 1/4, and how did you mount that?

I have a rear shock tower...

This is what I have currently, also a late model style sing mount. Can't remember what car it'd from, I want to say B4 though. Note the ginormous holes needed to get the body off around the wing mounts.

The body shell, even the wind shield was painted in black color. The previous owner tried...

If you guys have stripped a body and have the hazed windows, try spraying them with a clear coat. In most cases, that will make the windows clear again.
