Starting new project...

Post by Jay Dub »

Well, I am on to my 2nd recent RC10 Project. It will be another version of my current racer. I picked up my parts today, and they look pretty good in ODG (non-hard ano). I don't think I will use the shocks pictured as they are regular anodising not hard. I would like to show you all the parts, but when I went to pick them up they had "misplaced" my motor plate, and one of my nose tubes. They said they would look for them tonight (in the tanks!) . Not that they can't be replaced, but I don't have allot of free time on my hands  . Anyways, my biggest dilema is whether to build it with white parts or black... I will post some before and after pics later.-Jeff

nice...... i like it!!.

i think a combo of white and black (like a worlds car) would be cooler than all black or all white.

Nice looking tub you got there! If it were me I would try and go with white for the contrast against that pretty tub.

Olive drab and white nylon would look great together, more striking than olive drab and black.

I have to agree with the white. I think it would look awesome with all white parts. However, It will be a racer, and the black parts are better for that purpose. Also, the only white parts I have are NIP and/or new looking used I would hate to use them on a runner :( . I have an entire cars worth, but I am interested in using them for a shelfer at some point -I think. I just need a NIP black chassis, nose plate, and motor plate!

Black parts and miltary green body (we call it kaki in Dutch, noidea what to call it in english): with white star, white lettering ID and some safety stickers in yellow/black... Like a wild-willy

Super cool. White endlinks are a nice touch.

What kind of body are you going to use? A military themed baja bug body would be pretty cool. If not military themed, at least work some of the olive drab (="kaki") into the the scheme.

Need to order a Mirage SS (my favorite). Will do my regular scheme (blue, green, yellow, white) as it is a racer.
